Decocrated Review: The Only Home Decor Subscription You Need
Below is my review of the Decocrated home decor subscription box. I include photos and features from both the Decocrated 2020 Winter Box and the Decocrated 2021 Easter Box. Both boxes give you a really good sense of what the Decocrated subscription box is all about. I just know you are going to love Decocrated!
The Decocrated 2020 Winter Box Review
OK. First off, I want you to know that I ordered my Decocrated 2020 Winter Box sight unseen. When it comes to subscription boxes, I LOVE to be surprised. So when the box arrived, I was super excited and couldn’t wait to see what was inside.
It arrived in a sturdy cardboard box and was packaged well. Messages of anticipation covered every flap as I opened the box.
As soon as I looked inside I thought, ‘Wow, what a genius use of space!’ The Decocrated crew packaged the box perfectly, safely housing each precious piece of décor. Because of the expert way the items were put together, the unboxing process was so much fun!
The first thing I saw was this envelope which held the styling booklet and a beautiful, wintery art print. The booklet explained that for this year’s Winter Box, the DecoCreators created a beautiful story of charming villages, icy blues, and leafy greens. A winter wonderland!
The styling booklet went on to offer design tips, inspiration, and recommended pieces to complement the theme from the member-exclusive Decocrated shop. But I didn’t want to read it just yet. I wasn’t done with my surprises. 🙂
The Boho Snowflake
The first piece I opened was this sculptural boho snowflake wall hanging made from various shades of natural wood.
Love that mosaic star pattern!
The Tabletop Calendar
Next came this adorable painted block calendar display. The wintery white blocks are adjustable so you can change the date each day.
The Winter Village
This amazing piece was followed by a series of charming little painted village houses in coordinating cool winter colors. When grouped together, they made a whimsical winter village scene. I especially loved the pine tree!
The Sled Shelf
The next thing I unpacked was this gorgeous display shelf featuring dark natural woods and a metal frame.
(Not only is the shelf gorgeous, but it’s also made to look like an old-fashioned sled!)
I couldn’t wait to hang this sled shelf on my wall.
Once the sled shelf was hung on the wall (I did it in 5 minutes with two nails, a hammer, and a level), I had a blast arranging the winter village décor pieces on the shelves.
The Pillow Cover and Wall Art
After that, I unboxed the last two items in my Decocrated box: this lovely mint and cool blue pillow cover, and this framed greenery wall art!
The stylish wintery scene on this zippered pillow case looks amazing on my bench seat!
I had a spare lumbar pillow among my sewing things. (If you don’t have one on hand, you can get one here on Amazon for pretty cheap.) I slipped it inside my new pillow cover, fluffed it up a bit, and set it on my bench seat. By sheer coincidence, the color scheme goes well with the forest green on our dining room wall. But the cool colors will go well with any neutral décor.
Arranging My Decocrated Décor Items
After admiring my pillow for a minute, I shifted my attention back to arranging the rest of the décor pieces. I hung the boho snowflake beside the sled shelf. Then I centered the greenery-themed wall art below it. Then I stepped back and took a million pictures because I was so excited about how everything turned out!
I’m so happy with how my collection of winter decor pieces from Decocrated turned out! That is why I decided to write this Decocrated review for their 2020 Winter Box. Every time I walk into my dining room, these amazing pieces put a smile on my face!

The Decocrated 2021 Easter Box Review
I was desperate for some Spring in my life and so I was definitely looking forward to the Decocrated 2021 Easter Box. When it arrived I couldn’t wait to open the perfectly packaged box of amazingness. I was NOT disappointed. Inside each carefully positioned package, sweet, nature-inspired items were waiting for me.
This collection is so lovely. I adore the way the nature-inspired pieces announce the coming of Spring. The items feature a color palette of lush pinks and soft blues that are so well-coordinated! Here is a glimpse at what I unpacked from my Decocrated 2021 Easter Box:
The Art Print
This gorgeous print is actually a double-sided postcard – one side is a floral print designed by Featured Artist, Kim Nevo, and the other side is an inspirational, Spring-themed quote.
The Clip Frame
The lovely little print looks amazing inside the rustic clip frame that comes in the Easter Box. I like that they included the clip frame because I can definitely imagine all of the ways I will use it. For now, I have the floral print in there and it looks awesome.
The Spring Pillow
Next up was this fabulous pillow cover. On one side, beautiful sketches of spring flowers, on the other side, solid robin’s egg blue. I’ve got this reversible pillow on my blue-gray love seat in the living room and it looks fantastic.
The Floral Set
When I unpacked The Floral Set, I was so excited! I could immediately picture how well these lovely, monochromatic prints would look on my dining room wall. The wooden frames are great for hanging but I think they would also work well on a mantle or shelf.
The Stack of Books
Another amazing item from the 2021 Easter Box! When I pulled this rustic inspirational stack of books from my Decocrated Easter Box, I was thrilled. They are so adorable! And I love the message. 🙂 I have them on my sideboard as of right now, but I plan to use them on some shelving as well. They are really versatile and such a statement piece.
The Spring Planter
This pale blue planter and cherry-wood finish frame was such a cool surprise! You can use this metal planter for all kinds of plant arrangements – bouquets, house plants, wildflowers – no matter what you throw in there, it’s going to look great.
The Wood Runner
This final piece from the Decocrated 2021 Easter Box really tied everything together! In all honesty, I had never heard of a wood runner before, but I absolutely adore it. It’s like a cool little shelf that serves a display runner for your home decor pieces. This stylish wood runner would work well on your dining room table, coffee table, or sofa table. We have ours on the sideboard, and I couldn’t be happier with how it looks
