Are you searching for a board game that the whole family can enjoy? One that’s both fun and educational? Look no further than the Zingo board game!

What Exactly is Zingo?

Zingo is a fast-paced game that combines the excitement of Bingo with the benefits of a learning toy.  It’s perfect for ages 4 and up, and can be played with 2-6 players.

Why the Zingo Board Game is Awesome

Zingo isn’t just a fun board game for kids. It helps kids develop essential skills too.

Playing Zingo can help foster skills like:

  • image and vocabulary recognition
  • reading & spelling skills
  • matching skills
  • memory skills
  • improved concentration
  • social skills

Plus, the game is easy to set up and clean up, and the mechanics are simple to learn. Players slide the Zinger to reveal two tiles, and then race to find a match on their Zingo card. The first player to fill their card wins!

Set Up is Easy

One of our favorite things about Zingo is how easy it is to set up (and clean up too!).

Zingo comes with:

  • 1 “Zinger” or picture tile dispenser
  • 72 yellow plastic picture tiles (with corresponding words)
  • 6 double-sided Zingo game cards (green side is easy and red side is a little more challenging).

To get started, fill both sides of the Zinger with the yellow tiles, put on the cap and pass out the Zingo cards. Now get ready for some Zingo!

How to Play Zingo

  1. Slide the Zinger to reveal 2 tiles. Quickly scan your Zingo card to see if one or both of the tiles matches a picture on your card. If you see a match, shout it out and claim it.
  2. Add your claimed tile to your Zingo card, covering the matching image. If more than one player tries to claim a tile, whoever calls it out first wins the tile.  If no one claims a tile, simply slide it back into the Zinger.
  3. Keep going until the first player fills their entire card. They win the game!

Why We Love Zingo

Zingo is a game that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age. It’s engaging for both kids and adults, and it promotes important learning skills. We especially love how much it encourages reading, word recognition, matching, and memory skills.
